Opening an eCD
- With a minimal amount of personal information including your driver's license number, the name of your current bank for personal checking, account number and routing number, you can complete our online application
- The eCD opening deposit will be electronically transferred from your existing checking account that you connect to the eCD. The checking account could be a VirtualBank account, or one you have at a different bank
- Before we open the eCD we will send two small deposit amounts to your connected checking account which you need to verify with your existing bank by reviewing your transaction history
- Let us know you received both deposits and verify amounts after selecting Review Application on our homepage at www.VirtualBank.com. After you do this, we'll open your eCD and automatically transfer the opening deposit from your connected checking account
